How much does gutter cleaning in Dublin cost?
It comes down to the size of the house, how many storeys and how bad the build-up is. A two-bed terrace is a very different job to a detached with a conservatory and a three-storey return. You get a fixed price before we come out, and it doesn't change on the day.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year for most Dublin homes, ideally in late autumn once the leaves are down. Twice a year if you have trees close to the house — those gutters fill again by spring no matter what you do.
Do you clear the downpipes as well?
Yes, and it's included. Most overflows are a blocked downpipe rather than a blocked gutter, so clearing the run without checking the pipe just moves the problem. We rod and flush every one.
Can you do it without leaning ladders on my gutters?
We can. The high reach vacuum works entirely from the ground, which suits three-storey houses, conservatory roofs, soft ground and anywhere a ladder isn't safe or welcome. We'll tell you at quote stage which method your house needs.
Do I need to be home?
Not usually. As long as we can get around the outside of the house we can do the job and send you the photos and the invoice afterwards. Plenty of our work is for landlords who are nowhere near the property.
What if a gutter is broken rather than blocked?
We photograph it, show you exactly what's wrong and quote the repair separately. There's no obligation to have us do it — a lot of people just want to know what the problem actually is.
Are you insured?
Fully insured for residential and commercial work, and happy to show the paperwork before we start. Anyone working at height on your property should be able to do the same.
Do you cover my area?
We work across Dublin city and county plus the surrounding commuter belt. If your area isn't in the list above, send it through with your quote request and we'll confirm straight away.
